The weather is BEAUTIFUL, and almost bordering on warm. Here are a couple events going on this weekend you might like to check out with the family and I’ve also listed a couple local parks with wonderful playgrounds and activities for the kiddos. Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Saturday, March 20th
Downtown Chandler Barbeque Throwdown
What: This inaugural cooking competition features categories such as best pork ribs, best brisket and carne asada. Admission includes five complimentary barbecue samplers and an all-access pass for the kids zone. Proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the East Valley and Chandler Service Club.
When: 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday.
Where: Historic Downtown Chandler, on Arizona Avenue between Boston and Buffalo streets.
Admission: $10 for five samples, tickets can be purchased for additional samples.
